Only healthy pets are accepted.
Rabbits must be vaccinated against myxomatosis and RHD/VHD. Please note ALL rabbits now need to be vaccinated against the new strain of VHD/RHD2, this requires a separate vaccine at least two weeks apart from the original combined vaccine. Vaccination card’s will need to be presented at arrival before your rabbit can check-in.
Pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed upon booking. If your pet does have a medical condition, details of the condition and treatment required must also be given.
All boarding facilities are cleaned and disinfected between guests.
In the unlikely event your pet should become sick, we will transport your pet to the local vet, however, all costs will be in the owners name and address and will be the responsibility of the owner.
Sadly small animals can succumb to illness and sometimes pass away very suddenly. If this does happen, we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes should your pet pass away in our care. The Hedgerow Hotel can unfortunately accept no liability in the event of your pets passing away while in our care.
Payment must be made in advance of your pets stay, payment details will be confirmed upon booking.
If you collect your pet earlier than the departure date stated on your booking confirmation, you are still liable for the full amount of your pets stay.
We are a small boarding business and cannot guarantee extensions of stay will be granted. Any extensions of stay will be chargeable at current daily prices.
For cancellation with more than 7 day’s notice, no cancellation fee will apply.
For cancellation with 6 day’s notice or less, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
Small animal boarding does not require a licence or have the same rules and regulations as large animal boarding like dogs or cats. All animals are left at The Hedgerow Hotel at their owners risk.
