Cat Sitting

Why choose a sitter?

Going away and wondering what to do with your feline friends? Cats Protection recommend your cat remains at home in their own territory to avoid unnecessary stress.

“Should you book your cat into a cattery, or get a cat sitter to look after your pet? For most cats, the best solution is to get a cat sitter. Either a friend, neighbour or family member who can visit at least twice a day and make sure your cat is well-fed and safe. Cats are used to their own environment and keeping your cat in its own home means that they’ll be less likely to get stressed. Before you leave, make sure you leave emergency contact details, as well as the details of your vet, enough cat litter, food and medication.”

What I offer:

In line with the Cats Protection’s recommendation I offer twice daily 20 minute visits for just £15.00 a day where I will ensure your cat(s) get all the food, water and love they require in your absence. In addition any litter trays are emptied and changed and any medication is administered if required.

Extra benefits:

The added benefit of a sitter is that I am always happy to water your plants or pop your bin out so just ask!

A little about me:

I’m currently mum to four stripey felines; Nala (10), Alfie (10), Jeffrey (6), & Lottie (3) and have grown up with cats my whole life. To me a house isn’t a home without a cat! I’ve been cat sitting for many years now and not only have great testimonials from my current clients but am fully insured for peace of mind. It’s a big thing to give a stranger access to your home and your precious fur babies which is why I always arrange to meet with you and your cats in your home prior to your holiday where I can learn your routine and hopefully put you at ease.
